The remarkable creation curated by Shayla Hawkins Events is a true fusion of New Orleans' vibrant Mardi Gras spirit and the lively essence of Pittsburgh. This event was a sensory delight, featuring delectable cuisine, live portrait painting, a captivating jazz band, and even mesmerizing aerialists. We were incredibly blessed to contribute to this exceptional occasion by designing key elements, including invitations, a monogram, table signs, menus, hospitality bag tags, itineraries, a cake topper, a mirrored seating chart, and more.
On another note, Peachie and I share the same birthday, so I extend my heartfelt wishes for a joyful celebration on February 27th!
Peachie's event also served as a platform to raise funds for an incredible cause through crowdrise. Together with her son, Cameron "Wiz Khalifa" Thomaz, she supports an organization that focuses on giving back and raising funds for impactful initiatives while ensuring everyone has a great time. One cause close to Peachie and Cameron's hearts is Team Tassy, which is committed to running across Haiti to raise funds for their mission of providing job opportunities to Haitian families, helping them break free from the cycle of poverty. Their ambitious goal involves running 230 miles, equivalent to completing nearly nine marathons in just nine days. Along the way, they will traverse mountain ranges, urban landscapes, and share their unique perspective of Haiti. Their aim is to raise $75,000 for Team Tassy's noble cause.
