ARTISTIC IMPACT
THE NEW VISION

Art has always been my sanctuary, a refuge where I can escape the chaos of the world and find peace within myself. Whether through sketching, graphic design, or capturing moments with photography, art became my therapy.

Volunteering at local high school sporting events, I witnessed firsthand how my photographs of football, track, and hockey players could unite people, capturing the vibrant energy of the moment and creating lasting memories for the community. Each photograph became a piece of history, a way to remember the excitement, and spirit of the event. I also took on the responsibility of managing their social media accounts, creating marketing pieces that highlighted rivalries, and designing their senior programs. Similarly, diving into lifestyle photography brought me joy as I captured the essence of each individual, showcasing their unique stories and personalities through my lens.

In graphic design, I discovered the joy of transforming a client's vision into reality. Whether crafting the perfect logo, completing their branding, or designing a website, brochure, or billboard, seeing my designs in public spaces made me feel like a secret celebrity, thinking, "I designed that." Setting the tone for a wedding, a once-in-a-lifetime event, where the invitation was the star, and the accompanying pieces like the program, table cards, and other design elements played crucial roles in creating a cohesive and memorable experience for every guest, was incredibly fulfilling. Seeing those photos later posted in local magazines and social media was exciting. Witnessing my work out in the world, making an impact, was a thrilling experience. I found immense satisfaction in knowing that my designs helped businesses grow and individuals express themselves on some of the most important days of their lives.

The Happy Little Art Gallery, aims to engage individuals of all ages, races, demographics, and genders across Cuyahoga County who are interested in art, mental health awareness, and community involvement. My goal is to connect with all, ensuring equitable access to the resources and support offered by the galleries.

STRATEGIES TO REACH AUDIENCE

  • Collaborating with News Organizations: Generate publicity through partnerships with local news outlets.

  • Leveraging Social Media Platforms: Engage with the community and share information through various social media channels.

  • Dedicated Project Website: Provide updates, resources, and opportunities for involvement through the project's website.

  • Interactive Gallery Map: Create a map accessible via QR code to help visitors navigate between different galleries.

This project serves as a platform for advocating mental health awareness, highlighting available resources through artistic expression. By integrating mental health support within the galleries and events, I aim to break down the stigma, foster empathy, and encourage meaningful conversations.

Overall, my goal is to create positive change through art and community engagement, weaving together healing, resilience, and hope. I see this project as a catalyst for personal and collective growth, leaving a lasting impact on individuals and communities.
